An event exploring current research on gender issues by Manchester social scientists

This event, open to anyone, will explore current social scientific research on gender equality and inequality being carried out by Manchester academics. In jargon-free interactive sessions, sociologists, political scientists and statisticians will discuss the current situation for women and men in areas such as occupational choice, political representation and popular culture.

This event for the general public follows on from the sixth form event on the same theme earlier in the day.
