This workshop is open to anyone wishing to learn more about the importance of musical participation in everyday life, especially for those in society who may struggle to be heard through words alone.
Join us remotely to connect to a range of speakers, including University researchers, musicians and policy makers working in this field. Find out how these principles and practices are used by Manchester Camerata in their innovative ‘Camerata in the Community’ programme, which stretches across the north west of England. Members of the Camerata team will share real-world experiences about their work with young people in schools and people living with dementia.
There will be opportunities to ask questions and contribute to the discussion.
