Film-making and photography workshop for older people and MA students
A three-day documentary film-making, photography and visual media workshop based on a collaboration between older people (65+) living locally in Manchester, and recent graduates from the Granada Centre of Visual Anthropology who have completed the MA in Visual Anthropology. Participants created short documentary films or photo essays on issues and topics central to ageing and the urban environment, which are of interest and concern to the participants themselves.
The films and photo essays have been hosted on the Manchester Institute for Collaborative Research on Ageing (MICRA)’s website and screened at other public forums and at professional conferences.
