South Asians, Heart attack & cardiac rehabilitation
This event brings together experienced researchers from UoS and MMU and UoM, people living with patients suffering from heart diseases and their family, to share findings from a recent study that examined how cardiac rehabilitation services can be more fit-for-purpose. The study findings and participants views will be used to discuss opportunities for future research involvement. Recommendations for health and social science research in the cardiac rehabilitation will be developed and disseminated from this event. This will be an opportunity to widen the exposure of the research to the hard to reach community such as South Asians.
