Encountering Corpses 4: Encountering Post-Humanist Corpses
Returning for the fourth time, the Encountering Corpses event series this time looks at ‘Post-human’ corpses from specific and intriguing angles. What should we make of our new interactions with and usages of cyborg and synthetic human corpses? Our panels will discuss the use of synthetic bodies for autopsy practice and clinical death roleplay. Also featuring a keynote from a scholar addressing the post-human corpse in literature and visual art, and demonstrations of synthetic human technology.
