Email 24/7: Agile Working or Electronic Leash
Are you one of those people who just can’t stop checking their work emails, even on days off and holidays? A new collaboration between researchers at Manchester Metropolitan University and Manchester University is exploring how reading emails outside of working hours can potentially lead to a whole host of negative effects on health, wellbeing and productivity. However, for others, being able to access work emails 24/7 can be a necessary coping mechanism. Come along to this highly interactive event where we will outline current research findings and practice from leading organisations and share suggestions on how to develop efficient and effective email cultures at work.
